Daily Case Management
Rohingya Empowerment Community provides daily case management services to support Rohingya refugees in Buffalo as they navigate complex systems and rebuild their lives in the United States. Because many community members face language barriers, limited formal education, and unfamiliarity with U.S. institutions, our case management services play a critical role in helping families access essential resources and maintain stability.
Our team provides culturally responsive and language-accessible assistance in the Rohingya language. We help individuals and families address urgent and ongoing needs, including housing support, applications for public benefits, healthcare navigation, school enrollment for children, interpretation and translation, and guidance with important documentation. We also assist community members in communicating with government agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and social service organizations.
In addition, our case management services connect families with employment opportunities, legal resources, and educational programs such as English as a Second Language (ESL) and citizenship preparation classes. We work closely with local organizations and service providers to ensure that Rohingya refugees can access the support they need to achieve stability and independence.
Through daily case management, Rohingya Empowerment Community helps families overcome barriers, build confidence in navigating systems, and move toward long-term self-sufficiency while preserving their dignity and cultural identity.
