Employment Support
Employment and training opportunities are essential for long-term self-sufficiency within the Rohingya community. Many community members are eager to work and support their families but face barriers such as limited English proficiency, unfamiliarity with the U.S. job market, and limited access to professional networks. Rohingya Empowerment Community provides guidance to help individuals prepare for employment, including support with English language learning, job readiness training, resume development, and understanding workplace expectations in the United States.
In addition, our organization helps connect community members with local employers and employment opportunities that align with their skills and interests. We also encourage long-term growth by promoting education, skills training, and career development opportunities. Through these efforts, we aim to empower Rohingya refugees to gain stable employment, build confidence, and achieve greater financial independence for themselves and their families.
